There are many reasons why you might need to rent a receptacle to hold all of your trash. You might be doing some home remodeling and have bits of plaster and masonry cluttering up your lawn. Your roof might need to be redone and you need a place to put all of the used asphalt shingles. You might simply be cleaning out your garage or attic. Regardless of the job, you will want to rent a dumpster in order to easily get rid of all of your waste, rather than cart it to the dump or other trash management facility. Renting a dumpster makes all of these jobs easier and more efficient. There are three main types of trash receptacles that you can rent today.

1. Front End Dumpster

A front end dumpster is one of the most popular choices for home renovation projects because of its large carrying capacity and its easy of operation. A front end dumpster can simply be opened from the top or from the sides. These dumpsters are in the medium cost range and are designed so that they can easily be deposited on a driveway. This is advantageous because it significantly decreases the amount of time that it takes for the trash to be moved to the dumpster, since the dumpster is not located across the street.

2. Roll Off Dumpster

These dumpsters are open at the top. They are best for renovation projects or roofing projects that are going to generate a large amount of waste, since they are able to accommodate a large volume. They are best for roofing projects because the roofers can simply throw any waste from the roof into the dumpster. Because of their large size, they make less sense for smaller projects, such as cleaning out the attic or garage.

3. Rolling Trash Bin

This is the perfect receptacle to use for small projects. A rolling trash bin has two wheels in the back that can be used to easily transport the dumpster. It opens on the top, which makes it easy to deposit trash, since it is less than five feet tall. This is great for people who need to take larger amounts of trash to another location, such as the front lawn curb, for garbage pickup day.
